DAPP in Reflective Clinical Practice
Using DAPP in reflective practice is much more loose and flexible. Beyond the detailed analyses that are produced through a formal coding process, DAPP language and concepts can be used in consultations, case discussions, and as a therapeutic heuristic through which clinicians can reflect upon their work. The use of DAPP in reflective practice is then primarily through engaging in discussions (or individual reflection) using DAPP guiding questions as heuristics. The following questions can be adapted to meet the specific needs of the group, individual clinician, or adapted to best fit the case being discussed:

- What are the conflicts brought to or emerging in therapy?
- Do I see progress towards synthesizing these conflicts?
- What resources am I offering to the client?
- Which resources has the client been using? Which have been less helpful?
- How do I know? What evidence do I have to support my answers to the previous questions?
- How can I increase attunement in the resources I offer?
